As many in the area have become aware, Hendrick AgriFoods and Hendrick Seeds have acquired the former Inkerman Public School in this North Dundas Township community.
The companies’ wish is to work with the architecture of this fine building, so that it can accommodate their staff, and serve as a centre of excellence for the research and development of healthier Non-GMO soybeans.
We expect to complete our interior renovations and landscape redesign in time for an open house scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 10, 2011.
So all you teachers and students who once attended or taught at Inkerman Public School and who want to take a trip down memory lane, are invited to join the Hendrick family of companies for a visit of the new facility.
We also invite members of the community to attend, and let us know how well we have done in maintaining the image of the old Inkerman Alma Mater!!
To the best soybean growers in Canada, i.e. those of Eastern Ontario, we send a special invitation to you, to join us in our new research and office facilities.
This invitation is just a head’s up to let you know what’s happening, and to get you to mark us in your calendars.
We will be providing more details as spring approaches.
If any of you have memorabilia about the school or the "Rockets" we have a display cabinet in the lobby that we want to fill with memories. Contact Jennifer Hendrick at 613-762-9394.
